Long Island Railroad at Mineola-part 14

Long Island Railroad at Mineola We spent the afternoon of May 2nd, 1997 at Mineola, where the Oyster Bay Branch leaves the Main Line. You will notice several things that are no longer in existence: The Metropolitan "M" logo, the Pullman Standard passenger cars, the Budd built M1 and M3 electric trains, and the Mineola Boulevard Bridge. Note that the passengers are using the walkway on the road overpass-this was before the pedestrian overpass was built.
