| The Tesla Model S was unveiled in California on the 26th of March and was quite impressive. With a 300-mile range on a single charge, 5 seats and a recharge-time of 45 minutes it's basically the first real electric car for everyone. Perhaps the most interesting part is the price which is more than half the price of the Tesla Roadster. The Tesla Model S will cost 49 900 $ when delivery to customers starts in 2011.
