Reading the Sunday newspapers today I could not help but see the latest meteorological calamities that have struck across the world. The devastating earthquake in Chile comes hot on the heels of the recent catastrophic earthquake in Haiti. Further afield in Europe coastlines took a hammering from an Atlantic storm. From Portugal in the south up as far as Holland in the north all took a battering from a severe offshore storm hitting land. There were tsunami warnings issued after the earthquake in Chile. Mudslides have wreaked untold damage and caused loss of life on the island of Madeira. Ireland was subjected to severe flooding last November followed quickly in January by the coldest and longest icy spells in recorded history.

Is it my imagination or is this becoming an almost weekly occurrence? Are we becoming immune to the global increase in weather related anomalies? The one common trend in all these instances is the increased frequency of the events and most certainly the increased intensity of the events.

Whether you believe in the theories of December 21 2012 or not, there is certainly growing evidence of global shift which are being witnessed through these meteorological events. Planet Nibiru or Planet X is predicted by many to be headed toward the Earth and the Sun. Is it this trajectory that is causing the anomalies that we are now witnessing? The gravitational pull that such an event would create could certainly explain why we are seeing such wide-ranging cataclysmic occurrences on a global scale. NASA places no credence in the existence of Planet Nibiru yet certain observers believe that at one time reference to this planet did exist on their records.

Is is sensationalist to speculate or theorise on something that is not supported with scientifically verified fact? Or is it possible that the data gatherers are not co-ordinated correctly and cross-referencing on global scales of agencies of different codes is not centrally co-ordinated. What intrigues me is that December 21 2012 is such a definitive date, a date that is fast approaching, that it warrants a co-ordinated multi-agency analysis if only to prove that the theory is completely flawed and of no value.
