Many people fear that when December 2012 arrives, sun spots will flare up and hit the earth, the polar axises will flip and/or a Planet X will collide with Planet Earth. If these events occur then tsunamis, super volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, fires, famine and other destruction will most likely spread thorough-out the earth.
In preparation of the Mayan Calender 2012 predictions people are moving away from nuclear power plants, fault lines and volcanoes to places of higher elevation. Those who believe that Planet X will hit earth and moving into underground bunkers that are well stocked with equipment and supplies.
The United States alone has 3 super volcanoes in New Mexico, California and Wyoming, not to mention that there are many nuclear power plants. Other places that are deemed unsafe to live when the Mayan Calender reaches 2012 are Australia, Europe, parts of Canada, parts of Asia and South America.
